I hated hand held can openers they hurt my wrist and caused me anger to the point I stopped buying cans I had to use a can opener on. Once we were married in 2010 with out wedding money we went shopping and came across this so brought it as this was going to save us so much time.

Got it home and its the best thing we brought, so easy to use, pop the can under make sure the magnet is on the can and turn it on, you can leave it and prepare the rest of the meal while it does it thing, it wont fall down and splash everywhere. Its just great, solid piece of work and i dont think i have every put it away its home is on the beach close to where i do all my cooking preps.

Coming up 3 years and it needs a bit of a clean on the shape cutting part but its still going great, still cutting like it did when we first got it and still hanging strong. Im so pleased with this that once it does die i will be heading out to get another one and at $35 for so many years its a GREAT deal. Better than buying a new hand held every few months cause you cant get it to work anymore.

I would recommend this to anyone that has problems with their hands or wrists, and i would recommend this to anyone that wants to get more things done instead of standing over a can trying to open it with a hand held, honestly you wont regret it, I surly havent.

Well were do i start, i have nothing but good to say about this beauty.

For the past two years i have been using a hand held can opener that doesn't turn around you had to use it like scissors, it would take at least a minute just to open the can, jaggeder edges spilled juices cat meat cleaning up afterwards plus all the cuts i ended up with trying to rip the lid off i was over it ,

We got the sunbeam can opener through flybys, I was so excited to get home and use it, felt like all my Christmas's came at once. So easy to use - plug it in, lift the handle, put can up to the magnet, press down and Bam round it goes, opens up within seconds, no spills or mess to clean up , you can use all size cans even ones with the pull lids on them! And the cord goes away nicely too, so its really east to store away or look great sitting on your bench.

There was an extra bonus - at the back of it is a knife sharpener Smile Icon I would highly recommend this to any one.

I love using my Sunbeam Open All Can Opener!! It sits proudly on my bench as I use it every single day to open my cans. I have owned it for years now and it is the most used small appliance in my kitchen. I refuse to even own a manual can opener, so if a powercut ever happened I would be in real trouble.

My Sunbeam Can Opener has never failed and opens all my cans to perfection, I love the magnet which stops the lids falling into the can, and love how the lever is removable for easy cleaning. I don't use the knife sharpener often but this is also an easy function to use and it definitly sharpens the knives well. I have recommended this product to many of my friends and have actually bought many as presents for my family members.

I remember as a kid having to use a hand held can opener that was a real mission to use it hurt my hand and half the time couldn't open a whole can. A friend of mines parents brought an electric can opener and I thought it was the coolest thing since sliced bread!!!

For my 23rd birthday my aunty volunteered to buy me a facial but all I wanted was a can opener (sad isn't it). So she brought us the Sunbeam Open All Can Opener and all I can say is its the best invention!

So easy to use put the can under the magnet and press down and viola, it's opened no worries at all. Would not use anything else. We do have a manual can opener just in case there is a power outage but think I would just sit in the corner and cry if that ever happened.

Also baked beans and jellymeat can which have the self opener always breaks so I just throw it into the can opener and 2 seconds later I have a cleanly cut can.

It doesn't leave the cans jagged like hand held ones do either its always nice and smooth. My nana has the worst can opener in the world and so for xmas bought her one and she raves about it to all of her friends. Why work your hands out if you don't need to???

This open all can opener was brought for us by my mother in law and is simply awesome! I couldnt be without it (though we do have a normal can opener in the draw in case we ever dont have power for whatever reason!).

Ours sits on the bench next to the toaster and jug so its quick to access and use ~ to be honest i think if your going to keep it in the draw somewhere then you may as well have a normal can opener.

I love that the lever is removable as it makes it quick an easy to clean, which i tend to do regularly (i guess it would depend what you use it on but we open a lot of tinned fruit and tinned tomatoes etc).

To be honest i didnt even realise it had a knife sharpener on the back till now so i cant comment on how great that is but will definately be trying it sometime soon. The only thing i do wish it had was an option to attach it to the wall but thats just personal preference.

Would highly recommend to others :)
