Duck Fresh Brush Starter Pack product reviews

Ordinary 'toilet brushes' are messy and drippy to use and they hold on to the germs when you put them away on their stands. With Duck Fresh brush, simply clean with a fresh pad every time and flush away the germs.

The extra long handle (50cm), is curved to make getting under the rim easier. The cleaning pads are biodegradable and break up like toilet paper. Safe for all plumbing and septic systems.

I saw the ads for these on TV and thought it would be a great way to clean the toilet as it is not my favourite job to do. I got some and some refill pads and thought I was set.

I got home and tried it, it was easy to put together and I liked not having to touch anything wet and that I could flush it instead of pulling wet brushes out and using them next time. What I didn't like is that it didn't seem to clean the toilet half as well as the other cleaners that you leave on for ten or so minutes and that the pad started coming to bits almost as soon as it got wet.

I have used up the refill pads and decided it was easier to just go back to the normal cleaners and yucky brushes as they clean so much better. The idea is great but the product doesn't deliver.

I am an impulse buyer and just had to have this product. I hate cleaning the toilet, but with this product i didn't really find it a chore. My kids love to "play" with the toilet brush and make a horrible mess, they didn't find this product very effective at all to my joy. Must admit, have never purchased any other cleaning pads for it and now the handle has moved to the bathroom. im only putting lifespan as 5 cause i don't really know. :0

Watching T.V. one night, I saw an ad for this product and thought to myself 'Hmmm, quite a dinky wee thing, must check it out'.

The next day, while shopping for groceries, I decided that I would splash out and get a starter pack and some refill pads. I got a small shock when I saw the price of the pack, but since it was going to be once-off purchase, figured it would be worth it.

When I got home, I immediately started to read the instructions. (I know, not a kiwi or a male thing to do.) The instructions were well written and easy to follow, but this didn't stop me from trying to put the direction of 'this is a PERMANENT fixture' to the test.

With the base element sorted out, I figured now was as good a time as any to test it out. Apart from a small amount of contact with the cleaning pad as you take it from the packaging to the brush clamp, there's no need to get your hands dirty.

Overall, I am very glad I made the decision to get this new toilet brush. It has proved to be very effective and good value for money.
