At times my life can get quite stressful and I like to try and relax and unwind by watching a good movie. I tend to go more for the comedy genre as I love to have a good laugh, after-all they do say laughter is the best medicine. When I saw that The Wilde Wedding was available to request I thought that the description sounded right up my alley. When I found out I would be getting a copy to review, I was looking forward to putting up my feet up to watch it. The main picture on the front of the cover that caught my eye, was of a lady and two men, which automatically had me thinking of a love triangle.

When I finally managed to get all my children into bed at night I sat down and started watching the movie. Initially I was finding the story-line very slow to get interesting, and the movie wasn't overly funny until the second half. The story-line focuses on Eve Wilde who is getting married and has her ex-husband coming to the wedding. Throughout the movie also focuses on the sexual escapades of some of the other family members and guests to the wedding. With all of these people staying together before the wedding it is quite entertaining, and in the end Eve ended up with the person I hoped she would choose.

This movie wasn't quite what I was expecting, I thought that there would be more laugh out loud scenes. I think that the movie is well made, and that the actors and actresses portray their characters well. I think I would watch again, but probably not when I'm looking for a really lighthearted comedy.
