When I first saw this I thought cool, just what i've been waiting for, a beat-em-up with a plot. And when I started playing it I was hooked, up until I hit the end of *FIRST* level boss, and then I was back at the beginning, so off through the level again, got to the end of level boss and .............

Back to the beginning again and again and again and again.

So off to the internet I went and looked at some strategy guides, read up on the suggestions and back I went again, and once again I got my *beep* kicked all the way back to the last save point (Yes I found it after failure number 3).

So all in all great game, but it loses points in the replayability as I no longer feel inclined to go back to it. (ohh well out comes Halo again)

Running, jumping, throwing things, swords, kicks and falls... EXACTLY my kinda game. Mastering the various leaps, jumps, climbs and spiderman-style aerobatics thankfully is able to take place early on and you are on your own, not faced with hordes of evil things coming to kill you in nasty ways... The 'interminable' opening movies and cinematics, mercifully, are skippable, and then the action can head on its way.

I do have to agree though, those white buggers can be pretty vicious. Unfortunately, as with all games, the replaying of early levels to get to, and past, the last level played can bring down the replayability level.

Another fine beat-em-up, on a par with other games previewed on this site.

Hmmm... running, jumping, throwing things, swords, kicks and falls... the life of a Ninja is always busy. So after a hard day's ass-whooping, there's nothing quite like bringing your work home with you. After all Revenge isn't just a 9-to-5 job.

After wading through the interminable opening movies and cinematics, the game starts with you in a rocky valley at the base of your enemy's HQ. From here on in, it's a steep learning curve. Before you can even reach someone to turn into low-carbo-sushi you have to master various leaps, jumps, climbs and gravity-defying wall-walking spiderman-style.

We sat here 'til nearly 3 in the morning working our way through the first castle... what a mission. (White-coats are nasty little buggers!) and it's by no means as easy as it first seems... however the early areas do get a tad repetitive. Stick with it, there ARE some surprises and challenges to overcome.

Overall, well, after more than a few hours hammering away at the controller, my thumbs are so sore I have to type this review by voice-recognition. Another fine beat-em-up.
