Full of great ideas for delightful food that can be made simply and on a tight budget, this series is pure gold for those of us who are getting bored making the same old same old in the kitchen.

The title is a little misleading... the dishes use only four MAIN ingredients, but things like herbs and spices aren't counted. Still, a good kitchen SHOULD have herbs and spices on hand at all times, dried if not fresh, so I felt it was an acceptable 'little white misdirection'. Wink Icon

Some of the dishes are so amazing, I was in the kitchen trying them out as I watched... some weren't to my tastes at all - which is absolutely fine, as it's entirely likely someone else will have a different set of preferences and find dishes they won't go for too.

Overall, this is an excellent series, and all the food is readily made by even the most basic of home cooks... no fancy gear required, very few 'fancy' ingredients used on screen, and most of those can be replaced by more mundane ingredients without ruining the dishes, and as long as you can get past the all-too-bright lighthouse smiles and Australian Drawl that slides in here and there, it's enthralling viewing. Prepare to get shoved out of your cooking rut, and explore new taste territories!

Product image for The X-Files: Season ThreeAs the third season begins, Mulder is missing and assumed dead... although Scully experiences a vision in which he is still alive. Yet even as they are reunited, each must deal with an additional personal loss, tragedies that ultimately serve to strengthen their connection to each other. And they soon find themselves depending on that strength as familiar foes resurface and preconceived notions are shattered.
